Helen and Genevieve I love the characters in this book It s a very emotional roller coaster with many secrets revealed and how they learn to forgive This story will bring Joy and tears along the way Just don t miss this heartwarming journey I promise Emily March will not disappoint Romance I really enjoyed this emotionally charged family story Long ago secrets come to the surface bringing pain and joy all at the same time Helen and Genevieve are very close sisters who share everything or so Genevieve believes When a painful story from the past comes to light it brings big feelings all around This book will touch your heart and make you grateful for the family that you love I received an advanced reader copy of this book from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion Romance Zoey Hillcrest and her fianc have come to Lake in the Clouds to plan their wedding She looks just like Genevieve Prentice s daughter Willow the wedding planner They decide to wedding during the summer at the lodge that Genevieve and her sister Helen own Zoey is finishing her residence as a doctor and her fianc Chance is also a doctor and it s been really stressful for her lately Zoey s mother shows up in town and is dying from cancer and she was an absentee mother when Zoey was growing up Zoey returns to the lake when her mother dies and her life with Chance is falling apart Romance Second Chance Season transports us to a third visit to the town of Lake in the Clouds This story is filled with both familiar and new characters and will play on your emotions. Second chance season book series Second Chance Season will be published by Hachette Book Group on November 05 2024 I was able to read and review the 3rd of the Lake in the Clouds series via NetGalley Emily March has given readers another fabulous story of the Colorado storyline Second Chance Season is delightful and heartwarming I encourage her fans not to miss this one Never read her books Read The Getaway Balancing Act and now Second Chance Season for a wonderful series that are truly page turners Do Enjoy Romance Returning to the Lake in the Clouds setting for Second Chance Season by Emily March felt like revisiting an old friend March s description of this small Rocky Mountain town is so majestic and tranquil that it almost feels like a character in its own right Who wouldn t want to spend time there This book is the third in the series and while it can certainly be enjoyed as a standalone having read the previous books adds an extra layer of depth to the story. Book second chance season 2 In Second Chance Season we re introduced to Zoey Hillcrest a young bride to be who is still completing the last few months of her medical education Newly engaged she dreams of getting married at the Inn at Mirror Lake but what she uncovers there is than just a wedding venue it s the key to her lifelong quest of discovering who she truly is What she finds will not only change her life but also deeply affect those around her including the series main characters. Second Chance seasonlights I particularly loved how the story alternates between Zoey Genevieve Prentice and Helen McDaniel Through these intertwined storylines we gain insight into Genevieve and Helen s pasts uncovering family secrets that deepen the already strong bond between these women Without giving too much away there s a powerful message of hope and forgiveness woven throughout the narrative that leaves a lasting impression. Second Chance seasonlights Final Thoughts This is without a doubt my favorite book in the series While I can t help but hope for a fourth instalment Second Chance Season feels like the perfect conclusion to a beautiful series. Book second chance season 3 5 stars rounded up to 5 I received an ARC of this book from the publisher but the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own Romance Wow What an emotional roller coaster all in a good way I love these characters and am delighted in how the family continues to grow There are secrets heartaches wonderful surprises and a miracle or two This is a magical and touching visit to Lake in the Clouds Romance We are back in Lake in the Clouds Colorado with Helen and Genevieve A new bride named Zoey has come to the inn for a tour for her wedding in August She looks a lot like Willow the resemblance is uncanny When Zoey s mom is on her death bed Zoey has questions she decides to do a DNA test and she finds out she is somehow related to Willow This opens some buried secrets I really loved this book I love when the writing is so good You are hooked and become part of the story I laughed with the family and shed many tears with the family I really enjoyed this series Romance This was such a beautiful addition to the Lake in the Clouds series While it is part of the series I think it could be read and enjoyed as a stand alone too In this book Zoey Hillcrest and her fiance come to tour Helen and Genevieve s inn as a possibility for their upcoming wedding When Zoey arrives they are all shocked that Zoey could be Willow the wedding planner s and owner Genevieve s daughter s twin But they all brush it off and move forward with their lives Shortly after Zoey arrived back home to finish her medical training her absent mother reappears in her life to announce she has cancer and is dying This sets off a chain reaction in Zoey s life of wanting to finally learn her mother s secrets and why she could never stick around for Zoey As Zoey struggles with her past and what her future might hold her and her fianc e struggle to see if there will be a wedding While digging around in her past Zoey uncovers shocking information that changes everything This was a beautiful book about family forgiveness and figuring out what you really want in life If this is the last book in the Lake in the Clouds series it would be a beautiful ending But I m secretly hoping for another book or two featuring Adam or Helen I received an ARC and this is my honest review Romance
