She was ready to take things into her own hands so 6 years of waiting didn t make sense I was sad that there wasn t about Brynn as she was an interesting character. Book The Missing bridesmaid by john Nathan is ready to get married again His first wedding fell apart but led him to Hannah Now they are family to their daughter Lennie and her imaginary friend Whisper Hannah waited for this day forever and she is worried that something will go wrong When Nathan lost his father the loss hit him harder than he expected and things started to go downhill Can they survive all the challenges life throws at them Who can they trust and who is the real enemy I liked this book but as stand alone as this is Nathan and Hannah s story Thank you Bookouture and NetGalley for this copy 310 3. Book The Missing bridesmaid book 5 stars for me WOW Great follow up to the first book I didn t have too much criticism.

2024My Rating 4 StarsPages 310 The first book in this series ended with the Bride Brynn left at the alter while going into anaphylaxis a severer reaction from having had peanuts given to her by Hannah. Book The Missing bridesmaid dresses her Bridesmaid who has been doing everything possible to prevent her marrying Nathan as she secretly has been in love with him Nathan says he was in love with Brynn until her found out a secret about her Then he happily goes off with Hannah Brynn see the loving couple and swears revenge. Thriller The Missing bridesmaids book Now six years later Nathan and Hannah are finally getting married They have a precocious and creative six year old daughter who has an imaginary friend Whisper Hannah waited for this day and yes she has been worried that something will go wrong Just prior to the wedding Nathan s father dies which has been harder on him than he expected now his mood had changed and the life in the happy family is going downhill Things certainly get interesting Yes Lennie is Hannah s bridesmaid and yes goes missing She has been taken by you guessed it Lennie is no doubt the star in this story I always love reading the author s mote and in this case our author has a A Letter from L. EBook The Missing bridesmaid full book G Davis Jun 13 2024 BookoutureThe second part of the Broken Vow duet I really enjoyed the first one so of course I had to read the second one as well This should not be read as a standalone To fully grasp the story read the first book This takes part years after the first one and we get Hannah s and Lenny s point of view That was quite a surprise to me but a positive ones I haven t read alt of books that feature the POV of a young child I didn t think I d like this as much as I did I liked her actually a lot than Hannah who was a tad annoying with her constant doubts I did enjoy the first book but it was great to read the conclusion I d definite recommend this one I liked the addition of Whisper What a great thought The idea of revenge is an u known concept for me and at times it seemed so extreme But on the other hand this is a fictional story so go wild by all means As always don t read the blurb it s spoiling in a way Congratulations Liz on another great book you re a rockstar Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for my advanced copy All opinions are my own I was under no obligation to review 310 Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for providing this book with my honest review below. The Missing Bridesmaid pdf book The Missing Bridesmaid was a well written book but it just didn t really come together for me Hannah and her soon to be husband Nathan share a precocious and highly creative daughter Lennie as well as a major past secret which remains a secret through much of the book As their wedding grows closer Hannah experiences forgetfulness while Lennie seems to think her imaginary friend Whisper is telling her her dad is a bad man While this is all good in theory the secret being held for most of the book and then upon being revealed not fully explored was a bit of a letdown for me As was the supporting and main characters being so easy to forgive and forget which felt unrealistic So did Lennie who would be a joy for any parent but just felt a bit too perfect. The Missing Bridesmaid mystery cast As mentioned this is well written but it felt we spent a lot of time with Hannah and her doubts about Nathan and not enough of the tension that was driving the plot around their shared secret I did think the pieces with Lennie and Whisper were done well Ultimately I just couldn t get behind this I d also like to add if anyone somewhat knowingly got me injured in a plot to take down another person and took away that which I wanted most I d hardly forgive them in a span of an hour 310 Broken Vows 2I first start worrying about my beautiful daughter Lennie when she claims her imaginary friend told her not to trust me or her father Nathan As she retreats further into her own world and pushes us away it feels like we are losing our little girl Then one evening I see a shadowy figure in Lennie s bedroom window and I begin to worry her friend isn t imaginary at all Nathan insists it s all in my head but now my worst nightmare has come true Lennie has been kidnapped just before our rehearsal dinner in her adorable bridesmaid s dress And I think I know who did it. Book The Missing bridesmaid dresses With lots of twists and turns I couldn t wait to see where this story would end All the same characters were in this book This story takes place years after the first book and it s told from Nathan and Lennie s perspectives I did guess correctly where some parts of this story were heading This is a quick and easy read I liked the character development I recommend that you read The Woman At MY Wedding first as it builds up the scene for this book. Thriller The Missing bridesmaids book G Davis is Book 2 in the Broken Vows series This book can easily be read as stand alone as there is not a massive link between the first and second book only the same characters I loved how the first book ended and I had completely different expectations for this book. Book The Missing bridesmaid book There are some good twists at the end but the main twist is easy to guess so early I would say this is like a domestic thriller or family drama The way the first book ended does not go together with the second book timeline as no one would wait 6 years for revenge At the end of the first book Brynn was ready to act just three things really stand out to me 1 A week after Nathan s father passes and he is in a bad mood Hannah is really insistent about him being distant and not being normal but I think her level of worry and confusion was uncalled for and not very understanding The character seems to be an understanding woman so for her to be this upset this early on did make me slightly dislike her Of course when Nathan continues the bad behavior refuses to talk to her about yells at Lennie etc then of course she should be concerned but I felt the concern cam on too early 2 Nathan showed abusive behaviors in this 2nd book Him taking the epi pen in the first was about as abusive as he got but I am wondering here is he He was put on the Facebook group falsely so we are informed in the first book but then he is a model husband and father for years just to literally let the rage out The breaking of things the yelling and the harsh judgement on Hannah without giving her a chance to speak really seems abusive to me I feel like this is loose end that should be addressed because I think there s something there 3 Lennie s monologues were clearly written by an adult haha She uses words like duvet instead of blanket I just don t think a small child who has imaginary friends would instinctively say or think words like that especially if she can t even pronounce funeral Positives fast paced even though I knew it was Brynn I was still on the edge of my seat waiting for the reveal I really enjoyed Hannah s inner monologues The Gloria twist got me I wonder if Gloria is just great at manipulation and actually was purposefully poisoning Hannah I guess the 3rd book will reveal all 310 
Revenge is a dish best served cold Six seven years after the end of book one Nathan is once again planning to get married this time to Hannah who we knew was pregnant with his child at the end of the first book I loved that this book was partly narrated by their daughter Lennie now six years old as that is something we don t often experience with a psychological thriller and so that is something that definitely set this book apart from others in the genre Lennie has an imaginary friend Whisper who becomes real in this book and if you have read book one you will have a very good idea of who Whisper really is Whisper knows everything about Lennie and is the only person Lennie feels she can really trust because guardian angels don t lie do they The story is also narrated by Hannah who in the lead up to her wedding is feeling unwell and worries about Nathan s distant behaviour towards her They vowed to keep what they did secret but is it all going to spill out There were some fabulous twists in this book especially right at the end when the full truth about Whisper comes out I was gobsmacked And it seems there may be to come because that last jaw dropping reveal in the epilogue was epic 5 Thanks to Netgalley L G Davis and Bookouture for an ARC in return for an honest review 310 Revenge is a dish best serve coldFirstly I would recommend reading book one first The Woman at my Wedding as it really sets the backstory for this one though each one is a standalone in its own right It takes place seven years after the first one and is just as fast paced and twisted. Book The Missing bridesmaids book We reunite with Hannah and Nathan as they plan their upcoming wedding with a real sense of deja vu The difference being Lennie who has a huge imagination and often loses herself to her own little world and land of make believe She even has a voice as she provides her own narrative in her own chapters as we see the world through Lennie s eyes I must admit her perspective sometimes seems a little advanced for a 6 year old but then it s been a long time since I was that age so it is hard to remember. PDF The Missing bridesmaid gifts Lennie introduces us to her own imaginary friend who she calls Whisper and together they embark on many magical adventures together Beginning off as imaginary Whisper soon becomes real visible only to Lennie and if you have read book one you will have a pretty good idea who Whisper really is She knows everything about Lennie and is the only friend the little girl feels she can trust as things begin to erupt at home But before long Hannah and Nathan begin to ponder the wisdom of allowing this imaginary friend when things begin to go awry Of course it doesn t help that Nathan has begun to grow distant from both Hannah and Lennie snapping at them both for the slightest thing and bringing fear to their door Soon the wedding they have waited so long for seems far beyond their reach as Hannah ponders whether marrying Nathan is really in the best interests of her daughter While Lennie spends most of her time escaping to her treehouse into the comforting arms of her guardian angel Whisper. Book The Missing bridesmaid dresses I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel book with the different aspect as told by Lennie though her chapters were clearly written by an adult Some of her phrases and words were just too advanced for a 6 year old I felt Especially since it was apparent throughout that she couldn t pronounce funeral I had trouble pronouncing her version of it thoughhahaha. Book The Missing bridesmaid gifts Not a lot of criticism bar the fact that Nathan s abusive behaviour came out of nowhere when he showed no signs of it in the first book It s like he was a completely different character for the most part Granted he has just lost his father and is struggling with the grief he feels he shouldn t have given the place his father had in his life But while he was the epitome of love and understanding in the first book this one he became someone different. The Missing Bridesmaid ebook download Then there was Elena s psychiatrist husband Elena suggests Hannah speak to him to help deal with her stress then Hannah encourages Nathan to seek him alsothen by the end they have Lennie having therapy with him Don t get me wrong Lennie was in dire need of therapy after everything but a psychiatrist cannot treat any member of a patient s family or anyone with a close relationship past or present let alone the entire family It is a clear conflict of interest Added to that Lennie will have needed a therapist not a psychiatrist with specific training in treating children. The Missing Bridesmaid thriller book My last criticism is the whole missing bridesmaid part While it may be the title of the book it is very misleading because it takes up only a one hundredth percent of the story And it came out of nowhere The reasoning behind her abduction which I term rather loosely is just absurd And then in a matter of a few paragraphs all is forgiven and its water under the bridge I m sorrybut that part of the story was completely redundant and made absolutely no sense whatsoever Take that last part out and it would be a five star read because it was everything I love in a thriller fast paced twisted devious and entertaining. Book The Missing bridesmaids 5 rounded up come on Goodreads let us do half stars PLEASE Not as twisty as the first book but a really pleasant read with enough twists and turns to keep it interesting and leaving the door open for a third book I will definitely read by this author 310
