Wolf's Prize books E Turner s reader group site_link her on facebook site_link site_link I fell in love with this author when I read the first book in this series WOLF S KEEP and could hardly wait to get my hands on the second book WOLF S PRIZE So yes this is a second book a series with a kick ass story arc And yes I do recommend you start the series with the first book However wait for it you don t have to WOLF S PRIZE will stand on its own merit though you will be left with questions about the future. Wolf's Prize booking WOLF S PRIZE features one of my favorite secondary characters from the first book Aimon Proulx and Kathryn Beauchene who he just happened across during his investigations The heat between them is off the charts and their banter amusing as was their courtship The pacing is spot on and my only regret about this book was that it ended. Book Wolf's prize money I do recommend this book heck the entire series to any reader who enjoys their historical romance mixed with the paranormal There are some sex scenes but nothing too graphic so good for all from young adult and up. Book Wolf's prizegrab I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily Kindle Edition Book 2 of The Wolves of Langeais is a page turner from the very beginning and takes us further into the world of tenth century France Kathryn is strong willed and wants nothing than to make her own decisions including her to marry but a significant secret about her being puts all that in jeopardy Aiden given a second chance at life after an accident is out to save his pack But when he comes across Kathryn his pack is not the only one at risk. Book Wolf's prize wheel A quick paced shifter story with a dash of history Kindle Edition I enjoyed this book slightly than the first I liked the romance element between Kathryn and Aimon it was slow burn enough to be believable but not so slow that it was boring There was also just a hint of spice but not too much which is what often ruins this genre for me I loved the continuation of Erin and Garahet s story too it was nice to see how they had managed to survive in hiding I liked the element of discovering that female werewolves are not extinct as previously believed That will have changed a lot of things for the pack and potentially the future of lycanthropes. Wolf's Prize suspenseful music The historical element and world building in this series is really good The explanations of foreign words and which people and places are real and which are not at the beginning is a really nice addition to the books Kindle Edition This story picks up right where we left Gahret and Erin s story except we have shifted our main character focus I love that this story is a continuation of the original storyline and we are keeping pace to find out who the bad guys are Kathryn and Aimon take center stage in Wolf s Prize and it s such romantic honor bound struggle for Aimon swooning Kathryn s secret has been discovered and she s not the only one of her kind Aimon has discovered her and vowed to train her to control her inner beast He did not expect his own inner beast to react so strongly to her though The spice level is lower than Wolf s Keep but I think the romance and Kathryn s personal struggles make up for the shift of focus Wolf s Prize was a quick easy read that had me up way past my bedtime I m looking forward to the next book so we can see who the bad guy really is and of course to take down that wolf crazed clergyman I m also curious as to what character from the pack will get his romantic storyline next I think we have to wait until the fall for the story but I m sure it will be well worth the wait Spice 5 Kindle Edition Wolf s Prize is the second book in The Wolves of Langeais series and I loved it Dare I say it was better than the first book Feisty Kathryn is determined to keep her independence and chose her husband which is unusual for 10th century France She has a secret that she is desperate to keep and I was rooting for her all the way. Book Wolf's prized Saved from certain death Aimon was given a second chance by becoming a werewolf Now he has to save the pack who helped him survive Finding a female werewolf he vows to protect her from all threats and even his own desires The story winds around family and wolf pack secrets ramping up the tension that keeps you guessing right up to the last page. Book Wolf's prizerebel I am grateful to be given a copy of this book and my review is voluntary I can t wait to see all the secrets unfold Kindle Edition In the second installment of The Wolves of Langeais series K. Wolf prize 2024 E Turner takes readers on a gripping journey filled with mystery passion and suspense Centered around Aimon the lone bearer of knowledge regarding their Alpha s survival Wolf s Prize introduces us to a world where loyalty and love intertwine amidst the shadows of deception One of the most compelling aspects of the narrative lies in the enigmatic question of the traitor s identity a lingering mystery that intrigues the mind and keeps readers on the edge of their seats Turner masterfully weaves a web of possibilities leaving readers to ponder the true nature of allegiance and betrayal The blossoming romance between Aimon and Kathryn adds depth to the storyline with their connection evolving organically throughout the novel Turner s portrayal of their relationship feels authentic and heartfelt providing a refreshing contrast to traditional romance tropes Also it was a thousand times better to read about the male character calling someone my little vixen than my little filly no offence Gaharet While the romantic subplot flourishes the main plotline of the novel may leave some readers wanting Despite the strategic movements of Gaharet s pack and the machinations of opposing forces the overarching narrative feels somewhat stagnant with few significant developments to drive the plot forward. Book Wolf's prize wheel However this minor flaw is overshadowed by Turner s skillful portrayal of the characters emotions and interactions From the subtle nuances of affection to the tension filled confrontations every moment feels vivid and engaging. PDF Wolf's prized Wolf s Prize concludes with a tantalizing array of unanswered questions leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment of the series Turner s ability to keep readers invested and curious throughout the narrative speaks to the true essence of a compelling novel. Wolf prize winners E Turner s talent for storytelling Despite its minor shortcomings the novel succeeds in keeping readers captivated from start to finish ensuring that they will eagerly await the next chapter in the saga of The Wolves of Langeais I know I do. Wolf prize in physics I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily Kindle Edition Wolf s Prize is the second book in The Wolves of Langeais series It follows on from the story in the first book but it can be read as a standalone Female werewolves aren t supposed to exist yet Kathryn Beauchene is exactly that She s had to spend most of her life in hiding to keep a secret safe That is until the day she encounters Aimon Proulx As a werewolf and protector of her presumed dead cousin Gaharet Aimon senses her and vows to protect her when she becomes a pawn in a dangerous plot by Lothair who seeks to create a werewolf army From the very beginning there is an electrically charged energy between Kathryn and Aimon The sexual chemistry is palpable Their relationship develops naturally throughout the story and isn t forced All the while there is the burning question of who the traitor is There is a constant underlying threat of danger building the intrigue to an intense level There is the perfect balance of action intrigue and romance in the book The book ends with questions still unanswered and the reader dying to find out what happens next I m loving thugs series and I can t wait for the next book Kindle Edition The story continues as the traitor still walks among them Aimon knows that Gaharet lives and that he was forced to turn Erin to save her life The two have gone into hiding and the Comte de Anjou has summoned them to his presence A chance encounter has Aimon questioning his sanity since he swears he just bumped into a female werewolf which is impossible since Erin is the only one he knows about Kathryn Beauchene and her father have been summoned to Langeais by the Comte and informed that they will take possession of Gaharet s lands and monies They are to immediately take up residence at the keep The Comte also instructs that only Gararet s vassals are to be allowed to call upon Kathryn though no agreement shall be made with any of them without Lothair s permission She is obviously being used as bait for some scheme of the Comte s But Kathryn has a terrible secret and she fears it so be discovered So lots happening as Aimon discovers Kathryn s secret and take charge of her training But who was the wolf who turned her and is he also the traitor they seek I was given a copy of this book by the author My review is voluntary Kindle Edition Initially I struggled with this book I did find it slow starting however once I passed about 30% it picked up for me. Wolf's Prize suspenseful music When starting this book I hadn t realised it was a second in the instalment of a series I think I should of researched this further before starting as elements of the story definitely would of made sense to me I believe in book 1 we learn of the traitor and the initial story whereas book two is a continuation of knowing a traitor exists. Wolf's Prize books This story had everything I wanted within it the plot action romance and a deep story to unfold with the characters The only part of the story which stopped me from giving it a solid five stars would be the writing style this is just personal preference I don t take well to third person writing style so this was definitely something that I didn t know straight off Ignoring that everything else about this book I enjoyed and I would be interested in visiting the first book and then doing a reread to see if I can understand the story better Aimon and Kathryn had great story and plot together they had some lovely intimate moments which are a credit to the author for writing a lovely pair If you enjoy paranormal romance set in the medieval times then I d highly recommend this also if you enjoy 3rd person storytelling then I d definitely recommend. Book Wolf's prized I received this copy as an ARC for review but all opinions are completely my own Kindle Edition I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily I ll be honest and say that this was a really unusual reading choice for me having picked up this book without having read the first in the series and without knowing the author purely because the description sounded interesting I m an habitual reader of both shifter books and period books but these are usually set in 1700 s 1800 s occasionally in the 1900 s The prospect of reading a shifter story set in a medieval chevalier context was super enticing. Wolf's Prize epub reader And the story didn t disappoint Great balance of action and intimate moments and good pacing too I really loved Aimon and Kathryn and for all that I didn t read the first book considering it follows a different couple and the overall story arc is very easy to pick up on I never once felt lost or confused I wouldn t necessarily recommend doing this but if you re used to paranormal romance and want to give this book a spin without going back to book 1 you ll probably follow along without difficulty like I did. Book Wolf's prizerebel The only reason I didn t give five stars is really personal preference I m simply not used to third person omniscient narratives in paranormal romance I get why the author made this choice of pov it does give a rounded dimension to the narrative but it was so jarring for me that it made me stall a good bit around the 60 70% mark Purely user error honestly I liked Kathryn and Aimon so much I didn t want to read what someone was doing, Wolf's Prize books As they delve into family secrets their bond strengthens but not without a scare, Wolf prize in mathematics I don t read a lot of werewolf books but this story unravels the mystery about how one can become a werewolf for the less exposed of this genre, Wolf's Prize epubs In conclusion Wolf s Prize delivers a captivating blend of romance and intrigue showcasing K. Wolf's Prize paranormal lockdown Overall great writing and compelling story Will definitely go back to the first book and keep reading the series Kindle Edition
