Wow From the moment I started this book I couldn t put it down until I reached the last page The storyline gripped me from the start with perfectly fleshed out characters and a continuous thread of suspense that kept me on edge throughout The author included just the right amount of red herrings keeping me guessing without overdoing it What surprised me most was that this was a debut novel So so good and one of the best thriller novels I ve recently read. After Image fiction meaning The heart of the story revolves around the disappearance of Allie daughter of a famous Hollywood actress and step sister to Natasha who happens to be the protagonist Four years after Allie vanishes under mysterious circumstances a new lead unexpectedly surfaces prompting Natasha to embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind her step sister s disappearance English This debut mystery came together in a fantastic way It was a slow burn but the short chapters helped balance the pacing throughout and the literary aspect gave me time with character development I loved the class wealth fame commentary through the eyes of the main character with limited means being surrounded by those with excessive resources The last 75 or so pages brought in the thrills there was a garage scene that had me on the edge of my seat There were so many layers in how the story developed and I found the ending to be exceptionally satisfying English Natasha s world revolves around the devastating disappearance of her famous best friend and step sister Allie As time goes on Natasha begins to realize that she may not have known her step sister as well as she thought.
