Book Devil's savior meaning I received an arc copy via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review Romance Fiction Contemporary Ember Davis and her world building are second to none She creates worlds that build on each other while being able to standalone as well and gives us glimpses of characters past and future that feel like friends The connection between these 2 sparked from the beginning and when Sioux is caught in the line of fire Apostle will do all he can to protect her and her heart Sioux fights him as long as she can but her heart needs protecting I loved this story and the one before I look forward to MORE from the Devil s Saints MC Standout quotes 1 These biker men might be rough around the edges and even scary to those who don t know them but they know what they want and they go for it without apologies or remorse It s something to love about them not fear 2 My point Cherise laughs with her words is that you never know what could happen if you don t take a chance It s true you might get hurt But she pauses and holds my gaze you could also have a love that lasts a lifetime and then some Romance Fiction Contemporary This book opens with the aftermath of Sioux recovering after being shot in Book 1 Devil s Return Apostle and Sioux had a steamy one night stand after which Sioux was determined to move on But during her recovery Apostle sets about helping his woman recover so that he can eventually claim her He can see their future clearly now all he needs to do is get Sioux on board In the middle of all this the Riding Rebels MC has regrouped and they are doing some shady stuff in the city and the Devil s Saints are forced to step in and save the day This is a morally grey MC book if you have read other books by Ember you know that even though the DS have rough edges they love hard and Apostle is not different I love Sioux s sass and her independence and even though she fight hard against it she knows there is something between her and Apostle she can t ignore I loved this book it s a good book 2 in the series If you haven t read other books this can be read as a stand alone but trust me you will want to jump in and read all the related books Great read If you love a good MC story this is a great choice. Devil's saviorite rebels especially when they are apology orgasms I am so glad we finally get Apostle and Sioux s story we obviously get the beginning of their story in Wrenley s book and we were teased with their relationship in New Tune Old Vinyl Magnolia Point series which crosses over with the end of this book so to finally get all the dark dirty and deliciously steamy details is awesome Apostle doesn t fail to deliver in his growly possessive yet also super sweet way.
