Book Let No Clan Put asunder

I absolutely loved this paranormal novel Judith s writing is flawless and has a way to draw you in and I didn t stop reading until the end I loved the characters also A brilliant novel that I highly recommend Judith Sterling By all that is dark and gothic this book was absolutely thrilling I love Gwyn and her ability to adapt to the strange circumstances that her aunt has pulled her into And this time she s in for a really wild ride There were so many twists and turns I never knew which way to look I found myself pointing my finger at everyone although I wasn t sure what it was exactly they had done All of this was a slow unraveling of the crime the incidents that had me wondering what the heck was happening and the paranormal elements littered throughout it all This is the perfect cozy mystery with a gothic feel that kept me engaged from beginning to end Heroine POVNot a romance although a bit of romance includedTriggers no apparent triggers Judith Sterling When I read Trip the Light Phantasmic the first Gothic Gwyn mystery I didn t quite know what to expect Coming in to Let No Clan Put Asunder I had I thought a good idea of what to expect but it went way beyond those expectations Judith Sterling has created an absolute cracker of a series here Book 1 could have been a fluke but to follow it up with a second book of this standard is brilliant There s an air of pure fun about both books combined with great stories and even better writing. Let No Clan Put Asunder ebook download once you start reading this story you won t want to put it down I actually stayed up late into the night because I really wanted to know who dunnit Judith Sterling has a way of writing that captures your imagination from the first page until the very last page I remember reading the first book in this series and how much I enjoyed it and now after reading this second book all I know is that I want MORE Paranormal mixed in with mystery is an awesome combination for a story Gwyneth finds herself once again being a character in one of her aunt s gothic novels this time as a bride whose groom is missing If legend repeats itself he may have turned into a vampire or been murdered so it s up to her to find out the truth Surrounded by quite the assortment of eclectic characters who all seem to have secrets and a reason for murder it s no easy feat to find out the truth Very well written and love all the descriptions of life in the 1970 s Judith Sterling never disappoints I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review Judith Sterling I am so happy there is another book in the Gothic Gwyn Mysteries series In these books the main character gets sucked into different gothic romance novels To be able to leave the book she has to help the story play out as the main heroine and help solve the story s mystery I m so obsessed with these cozy little mysteries Gwyn is such a fun character and I love the unique concept of this series Judith Sterling

Book Let No Clan Put asunder My Rating 5 starsReviewed by NancyThis review first appeared Judith Sterling When Gwyn inherited a home from her Aunt Ethel she never dreamed that she might be a heroine in a Gothic mystery novel Picking up a novel titled The Dark Gift Gwyn falls asleep and finds herself back in the 70s as the lucky bride of a Scottish man living in a fantastic castle Upon arriving Gwyn learns that her fiance has disappeared and it is feared that he has inherited The Dark Gift In other words he has become a vampire Gwyn has to get along on her wits pretending that she knows her supposed fiance Alistair Robertson and is devastated that he is probably dead or undead This book has many twists and turns and is reminescent of Dark Shadows I found it to be quite interesting and a quick read although I wish the author had given some hint in the pronunciation of Donnachaidh and babobhan sith My knowledge of Scottish words is sort of sketchy I did enjoy the book however and recommend it to Gothic mystery lovers who also want a book that moves along quickly This is the second book in the series and I look forward to the next one Judith Sterling Judith Sterling s Gothic Gwyn mysteries are such enjoyable reads I grew up in the era of classic gothic mysteries and devoured them all Sterling obviously has a love of the genre too and this modern take on classic gothic stories is really fresh and fun.
