The Billionaire Dragon's Sweet matequiz This promises to be another winning series Set is Oro Escondido New Mexico the small town is populated with a variety of people and I kept wondering if I had met them separately in any other of Ms Howe s stories They certainly have some of the common behaviors of her other dragons both alpha and omega It s a sweet story as they all are low angst even with the appearance of the alpha from Dakota s past who brings out the fierce dragon in the usually easygoing omega Logan is a sweetheart whom Dakota comes to trust knowing he is safe and won t need to run again The secondary characters are interesting though to be honest I m very intrigued by the idea of Logan s brother who has a big secret that only Logan knows and his friend finding something together That story I definitely want to read Just one thing why is the word billionaire included in the title It didn t seem to matter in the story Yes Logan is definitely wealthy but I expected his wealth to be important than as a means of buying Dakota anything he needed I thought there would be significance to that than there is It really serves no purpose because we already know dragons are well offthey re hoarders of things that carry great value after all Minerva Howe I really enjoyed Minerva s shifter series with the pack bonds and family feel amongst them all This is no different but has an added magical feel with how dragons present in their human form and the abilities that some seem to haveDakota finds himself outside a bookshop with a help wanted sign at the perfect time On the run after having to defend himself against an abusive alpha he now needs money and somewhere safe to rest for a bit When Logan one of the Guardians of the wing dragon pack comes across Dakota he knows he s found someone special that he needs to know better. The Billionaire Dragon's Sweet matevish funeral 2 Dragon Shifters Paranormal MPREG A B O Found Family Attempted SA from other Alpha I pretty much auto read any dragon books from Minerva so this was a no brainer Her writing style is hit and miss but the story is always entertaining so she ends up being must read for me There are similarities here to her Dragon Veil Universe but there s also several differences that make this new series feel like its own Dakota has been on the run from his old wing ever since he hurt an alpha due to unwanted advances He panicked and fought back good job Kota and then he was banished so he keeps moving from place to place following the magic Dakota is very worried that he may have killed the alpha and that the wing might try to find and arrest him so he s always on edge The magic calls him to Oro Escondido in New Mexico where he finds a help wanted sign on a lovely bookstore He meets some great dragons that take him in immediately as one of the family Dakota also has a special ability that allows him to communicate with the familiars so he brought a connection to this new wing that was much needed It takes a while for Dakota to grow in confidence to accept his new family let Logan love him and stay in his new home instead of running again Logan is so patient with Dakota and lets the omega get used to him while showing him how he will support and protect him I love that all the dragons and familiars are as in love with food as Minerva s other dragon series characters are It s playful and some of the sweetest moments with her couples involve food and feeding each other Dakota is a strong and fierce omega that will protect those he loves and his new home Even when he was scared and his mind was going in circles he stood tall and gave everything everyone a chance While Logan is stupid rich it s not really mentioned until like 75% into the book only implied based on his house and spending habits So I m not really sure why that is relevant in the title of this book because it s not really a big deal in the book itself There are several unanswered questions in this book that will probably get filled in throughout the series like she normally does but it does make the reader confused when the first book is missing some world building elements I was a little annoyed that sometimes it was hard to follow any back and forth conversations especially if than two people because it didn t say who was talking so I would have to reread here and there to follow Overall this is a lighthearted read with sweet and cozy characters I wonder if Lars and Bryant are next in this series because they get introduced to each other towards the end of this book and they have a spark I received a free copy of this book via GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review. Book The Billionaire Dragon's Sweet maternity Verse NoHEA YesPOV DualBreakup No Minerva Howe This book introduces a new paranormal town when a young Omega stumbles in running from his past and drawn in by the magic His bookstore job immediately leads to meeting his Fated mate but his past tries to come back and haunt them I know what to expect when I pick up a romance by Minerva Howe Easy romance with outside difficulties rather than inside ones and lots of fun banter and The dragons in this shifter romance are protective of their region both of the magical beings and the humans nearby The bookstore owner especially is such a fun side character with her strange pet and big sister energy I can t wait for book 2 Minerva Howe It was as suggested very sweet It feels familiar as in some of the dragon lore overlaps a bit with what was in the dragon veil universe and yet also there s enough differences for this to have a fresh feel It was nice lighthearted cozy and sweet Minerva Howe 4. The Billionaire Dragon's Sweet Mate booking 0 stars I read a different book by the same author and I wasn t really digging that one much I liked this one I also really didn t like the nickname I mean it was a nice nickname but it just came out of nowhere I wasn t give it even an introduction to the nicknames which made it confusing Minerva Howe I have been eyeing this author for awhile and thought I would test run one of her books before I tackled a series Honestly I m a little disappointed Right off the bat I could tell that the writing was a bit off There would be instances where something happened and I had no context for what was happening or why or how I was so confused when they started talking to each other on their heads It was also difficult to figure out who was talking at certain times I thought Tawny was a large cat like a Maine Coon and it wasn t mentioned that she was in fact a LIONNESS until about 80% into the book. Book The Billionaire Dragon's Sweet maternity I d say most of this book is the two MCs eating followed by sex followed by a bit of plot The constant moral waffling that Dakota was doing one moment he was in bliss with Logan and then like mid orgasm he was like I need to get out of here I don t deserve to be here etc It was just a lot It just seemed like Logan did a lot of distracting when it came to helping his mate It felt like pretty much no one in town took anything seriously and we really don t get a sense of anyone s character beyond surface level I m also not sure where the author is from but there were a lot of UK slang terms in here for the setting to be somewhere in the US And I love that Dakota saying dude was all the proof Logan needed to prove he was from California Along with all the choppy sentences and weird dialogue this was difficult to enjoy but I may try one of her books to see if this was just a fluke even though this is her newest one Holy shit sorry this was so long I guess I have a lot of feelings about it Minerva Howe
