Book Two Good menards Warning this contains strong themes relating to pedophilia so this book may not be for everyone At times it is hard to read and my heart was breaking when we are told how many lives men like Otis have destroyed while they carry out their perverted crimes. Two Good Men book series Dick has seen the suffering that his sister and nephew have been through and becomes obsessed with damaging the life of the man who has destroyed his family s world He soon sets off on a path that may not end well for him but is tunnel visioned and unable to keep himself away from trying to put men like this down Steve is all about the law even though men like Otis has committed the most abhorrent of crimes he also does not believe in murder. Two Good menway Soon these men will become part of each other s lives and even though they are on different sides of the law a relationship and understanding between the two does develop I will not say any as to do so may give away how this book concludes but as I said above at times this does make for uncomfortable reading but the author has done a great job regarding this sensitive subject 3. Two Good menzerna E Redfearn for the copy of her new thriller I have enjoyed this author s previous works which tend to be emotional heartfelt stories When I first read the synopsis I was interested yet a little nervous about the content as Two Good Men centers on pedophiles rapist who have been released from prison and the two men who find themselves on different ends of morality One becomes a vigilante who takes matters into his own hands to protect his family and others from repeat offenders whereas the other is an FBI agent who deals with crimes against sex offenders I was thankful that when it came to the sex crimes there weren t expliciit details I also found myself constantly thinking about the moral conundrum of the plot This also had me wondering how I actually felt about the book itself The chapters are short and the writing is engaging so that I easily liked both men Dick and Steve There is another layer as Steve starts dating Dick s sister Dee When I got to the end it seemed as if it was going to finish the way it had started but I was relieved when it didn t and was than happy with the conclusion If you re on the fence because you are worried about content it s focused on the two men than the horrible acts of the sex offenders It has Law and Order SVU vibes I also felt that Steve gave me John Douglas vibes as well Overall it was an interesting departure not really since it was the 2nd book she ever wrote for Redfearn yet a necessary debate to be discussed I enjoyed reading about both sides of the work being done by both good guys Good writing skills gets readers thinking and that s what makes this an excellent book This was a well thought out and executed story English
