Veil of Blood Roses & Cracked memoriesdiscord Veil of Blood Roses Cracked Memories will gift you portal fantasy with a twist unique bonds found family prophecies sacrifices secrets protective FMC possessive protective MMC he will burn the world for herand much Yailin Melecio ARC Review Guys I was so incredibly impressed with this author s ability to tell a story Her writing was so fluid and really draws you in immediately I tore through this book so quickly that I m actually sitting over here sad because I have no idea when I ll get to find out what happens next It s really an exciting read and the world building wasn t exhausting at all Sometimes that can get a little heavy with fantasy books but it didn t bog this one down As a fan of ACOTAR I really felt and adored the Rhysand and Lucien vibes It wasn t similar enough to actually link this story to that one in any way but I absolutely loved Alaric Valentino and Lev Vesta s character really caught me by surprise too and I appreciate that she took on the protective morally grey ish character role Weak female characters drive me nuts but this was not her at all She s the hero of the story and I love it Ahh and the pet names were so cute Beautiful doe Little goddess My winged man Tropes Forgotten Memories AmnesiaWorld Ending ProphecyFound FamilyProtective FMCPossessive Protective MMCDragons Magic Royalty 5 with a little spice Yailin Melecio ARC Review 5 5 First I want to say thank you to yailinmelecio for the ARC of your debut novel This was such an exhilarating read and I am so emotionally invested in the outcome of the rest of the series Slight Spoilers Vesta is happy in Seattle She has a cat a job she loves and friends who adore her She wakes up in a strange fantasy world after dreaming of a strange winged man for years Very quickly she realizes she has woken up in the same world she s been dreaming of with a group of doting individuals who tell her she has been dead for 200 years and is back home finally With absolutely no memory of anything that she is being told happened in her past she needs to navigate this new reality with conflicting emotions conscious decisions and thoughts With tropes of found family a protective MMC and a devastating world ending prophecy driving the plot this has all of the potential of being a favorite new romantasy series It started out very well and caught your attention right away As the world building picked up some of the main plot points got a bit confusing but eventually worked themselves out as the story went forward and I was fully involved and invested by the end The characters are well rounded and well developed While I wanted to fight Vesta for most of the book because of her actions reasoning and her decision making but she did end up coming around and becoming a very good strong focal point and good FMC Alaric is absolutely dreamy He is such an amazing loving MMC and he is such a shining point in the story The rest of the characters are well developed and their interactions with Vesta and each other are fun to read Overall I really liked this story and I can t wait for the next one Veil of Blood Roses Cracked Memories releases on July 8th 2024 and is available for pre order now Yailin Melecio

ARC copyVesta lives in Seattle and always dreams of a winged man She suddenly wakes up in a different realm with said winged man and he swears she s his dead wife It s a very interesting premise with a cool playing card themed world Unfortunately I m DNFing it halfway through but I might go back to it later on I feel really guilty for not finishing it immediately but I had some issues with the main characters Vesta for some reason starts arguing with one of the generals for no reason and her husband Alaric essentially brushes it off It turned me off of her character I also gave Alaric some side eye as he really is just kidnapping her and keeping her captive We all know she s his wife and they re waiting for her to get her memories back but it s pretty unfair to her This book was almost a 3 for me but I do find the world intriguing and I do eventually want to see what happens with Lev and Valentino Because of the potential and it being a debut novel I m boosting it up a bit I am very very thankful for the author for providing me with an ARC copy I will continue to support her and her release as I know my personal opinions are just that opinions Yailin Melecio If you love magic winged people dragonshifters sirens fated mates multiple kingdoms or found family this book needs to be at the top of your TBR come July 8th The world building wasn t difficult to sit through making it an easy read Vesta is a wildcard FMC that I did want to throttle most of the book but still couldn t help but like her Alaric will be a fave MMC if you re a Raihn or Rhysand girl The ending made me eager for the next book in the series I want to thank Yailin for the opportunity to be on her ARC team for this must read romantasy Y all make sure to give her a follow pre order your copies Yailin Melecio Imagine waking up in the pages of a book in a fantasy realm you re supposed to remember but don t that is exactly what happens to Vesta and it is so interesting This book hooked me in on the first page I was so invested throughout the book and the ending was WHAT I need to know what happens next Vesta was maddening at moments I could have thrown my shoe at her however when she finds herself she is a badass The love story in this was so good their chemistry and passion so hot The world building was easy to understand the characters are lovable and overall this book was really good if you re a romantasy fan this one is for you Yailin Melecio I was so happy to get this ARC and go on this journey The storytelling of this was so good And I am eager for people to get their hands on it so we can talk about it and love it together The found family and lost memories was so good it had me from the moment I opened the book Am I desperately needing the 2nd book Correct Yailin Melecio No spoilers ahead but get ready for an adventure that has the element of surprise This story involves various magical abilities dragons winged people prophecies lost memories protective FMC and an enad MMC.
