The Whitehall AffairWhen Nora spots a photograph in the infamous Whitehall Mansion of a woman from the 1920s who looks eerily like her she embarks on a mission to learn about who her hundred year old twin was and ends up finding much than she bargained for THE WHITEHALL AFFAIR was a wild ride from beginning to end I found myself drawn in from the very first pages and from then on it was a story that I couldn t put down I immediately liked Nora and wanted to know of her story was rooting for her while she was searching and was intrigued whenwell I won t spoil anything but Nora s in for some fun times and so are you The characters in this story are incredibly well written I enjoyed reading about each of them and experiencing their relationships with Nora so much so that her family felt like my family her feelings became my feelings I found Nick interesting and was eager to see what would become of him as the story progressed again no spoilers but I loved the way Emily took this story Overall if you re looking for a cosy mystery with a small hint of the paranormal this story is right up your alley 416 Nora is a one time crime reporter who has been taking a break from writing the hard hitting stories after a vicious attack She visits the infamous Whitehall Mansion where she stubbles upon a photo over 100 years old of a woman who looks identical to her This is Nora s next story but what she begins to uncover as she uneasily befriends the current playboy head of the mansion will leave you racing to put the pieces together before disaster strikes This thriller has all the necessary elements to keep you turning the pages The writing is descriptive in an easy free flowing way Nora and her family are so well written that I felt like I knew them IRL Our heroine is ballsy and doesn t take any shit not even from super hot super rich men There are spooky paranormal happenings that come off so earnestly realistic And btw I thought I had this figured out I was way wrong 416
