The characters in this book were amazing I loved the dynamics and everything about them The story was good too but it didn t feel quite as tight as the first book A Journey to Unshakable Faith it wasn t all over the place so it didn t throw me off while reading I m always going to stay for the characters They are what s most important to me and Sydney did a wonderful job with them all and I m hoping there will be another book with them soon I highly recommend this book to anyone who needs a good sweet heartfelt little read ALSO seeing Esther slightly grown up was so sweet A Journey to Abiding Forgiveness I really enjoyed reading this I actually thought Witbeck s writing improved from A Journey to Unshakable Faith to A Journey to Abiding Forgiveness and found this one so much entertaining and thrilling Not to say A Journey to Unshakable Faith wasn t good it was but this one was just exceptional A few plot twists in AJtAF ACTUALLY made me gasp Like I haven t read a book like that in a LONG time It had the kind of plot twists that make the reader set the book down and stare at the wall And parts of the book made me CRY The characters felt SO SO SO real and one word that really summed up Witbeck s style is that it s just honest I m so glad I read this and it truly taught me a lot about God s love for His people and His forgiveness I can t wait to see what Witbeck writes next A Journey to Abiding Forgiveness
