site_link post a commentWe briefly met these characters in book 1 each one best friends of Lauren s and Caleb Without Aubrey Lauren would not have her hea but in doing so looses her job with nothing to go back home for she decides to stay and has an altercation with the MMC here starts the sparks but as both have had sad experiences in the past they are reluctant to fall in love Their best friends give them a helping hand I love how this story kept with the main characters from the 1st story and also showing the healing that Aubrey and Dalton found within each other learning to trust and love again A heartwarming story that I thoroughly enjoyed English The characters in this book are relatable to me I love Aubrey s character She sassy and knows what she wants Dalton I felt bad for because of how his story started I love how the story still included the ones from the first story definitely made it enjoyable to read so I recommend it. Book The Billionaire's Second chancellor English The story itself had so much potential and I enjoyed seeing Lauren Caleb and Marion again Dalton was great and had some good growth through the book but I just honestly couldn t get on board with Aubrey She started with a lot of misplaced resentment and I thought she was getting passed it and things would be good In the end I feel like we didn t get enough from her Dalton shared his feelings and made the changes to his life Aubrey didn t and then was mad he left to take care of things that she refused to let him talk to her about The fact that she just let him go and made no effort to fix things when she truly was the one to mess things up just doesn t sit right with me It shouldn t always be just one person in a couple being vulnerable and putting themselves out there and that s how this book was English 4. The Billionaire's Second Chance epubor Aubrey has a really rough history and now her getting involved with Lauren leads to her loosing her job Her job is her passion and now she finds herself adrift with no idea where her future is going Dalton sees his best friend Caleb find the love of his life But having had his heart crushed just a year ago has left him a tad jaded But Aubrey seems to be cutting right through his armour and his still trying to heal heart This is a sweet story of two individuals who both tend to be on the quieter side and are both afraid to love who find themselves drawn to each other and having to overcome their fears to allow themselves to love again and to find someone who loves them for them and will love them truly and fully I hope there will be books in this series. The Billionaire's Second Chance epubor For their own understandable and justified reasons both Dalton and Aubrey are reluctant to have a serious commitment Their struggle to accept their mutual attraction and emotional connection is evident throughout the story We are treated to matchmaking antics from Caleb and Lauren from book one in addition to the lovable BB owner Marian It isn t necessary to read book one but it was an awesome and emotional story that you shouldn t miss If you enjoy stories with a sexy hero a strong heroine humor heat and lots of heart then you will love this book I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I recommend that you start reading the Breckenridge series I received a free advanced reader copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review English I thoroughly enjoyed devouring this book It was a perfect followup to The Billionaire s Runaway Bride Having already been introduced to both Dalton and Aubrey I was excited to get to read their story Of course it started off with the most inopportune meet cute The character development was quite good yet I did feel I missed a piece from Dalton s background without much from his early years regarding parental relationship issues Mostly the focus for him was within the past 5 years Aubrey however having being deeply scared by her parents death projected those issues onto every circumctance. The Billionaire's Second Chance epubor while she covered with a bubbly exubrance internally she was anything but Dalton saw through her cover and that greatly troubled her The difference in their station was something that while he had the capacity to empathise with Aubrey s determinations had already been cast. The Billionaire's Second Chance pdf reader There were so many hurdles these two had to tackle Most of them were of their own creation but that did not minimize the difficulty Dalton seemed to turn into a bumbling rambler in her presence while Aubrey became an indecisive mute What happens when these two are left in charge of the BB ALONE This is most definately an enemies to lovers romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you watch Dalton and Aubrey struggle with their inner demons I m greatful for my gift copy and I volunteered this review I certainly hope you enjoy this book as much as I did Happy Reading Y all English I was looking forward to reading this book since these characters met at the end of book 1 Aubrey comes from humble beginnings her parents passed away tragically and the only friend she has is Lauren who became family to her Aubrey never lets love In because of her fear of it being taken away from her She worked many jobs and got scholarships to attend the same college as wealthy Lauren Aubrey helped Lauren not once but twice escape her wedding to Jeremy chosen by her heartless parents As revenge Jeremy wrecks her career With no where to live no money and no idea if she can teach again she decides to stay with Lauren in Colorado until she can figure it out She has a road rage incident with Dalton Caleb s best friend hate leads to passion Dalton though has been hurt too Dalton has no family except one cousin and he was going to propose to his girlfriend when he catches her cheating it s not the first time and now she s trying to get him back Dalton tries to lay his feelings out to Aubrey but she just can t take that leap Can they both break free of past trauma and learn to trust and love again I actually loved these two characters than Lauren and Caleb I think Aubrey was easy to relate to and you just wanted Dalton to be happy You rooted for both of themI m hoping there is another book I would love to see Marian in a later in life romance I highly recommend this book Spicy and all the feels, The Billionaire's Second Chance epubor 5 Rounded up to 5When Aubrey and Dalton s story was hinted at in book 1 of the series I was excited to see it and it didn t disappoint.
