Science Fiction This was a good start to the villain story I loved getting to know Bel better and her decisions that bring her to eventually be the villain Love the flirting romance and the story So full of twists my jaw hit the ground multiple times I have a hard time not falling in love with Jezebel and wanting the best for her as I know this is a villain story Love the character development of all the characters I was so captivated that the twists left my jaw hanging on the floor and I felt so bad for multiple characters I just wished Jezebel wasn t a villain but I knew that going into the series so I didn t let myself become attached to her However.

The queen's rising hardcover I don t want to give away too much because it s so much crazier if you guys read it and experience the story as it unfolds with all the wild plot twists My only advice is to try not to get overwhelmed by the first book it s just the beginning of a wild and twisted fantasy story Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction 4. Book the queen's rise and fall 5 starsWhat I liked The chapters were the perfect length for me There was excellent and intriguing worldbuilding and I liked the character development I enjoyed the second book than the first one so hang tight It gets better It had great suspense and kept my attention I also loved the descriptions and development of their culture and the character relationships And I always appreciate clean romance The third book was exactly the ending the series needed I loved the unexpected relationship Style wise I could read that kind of writing style all day long As for the plot I squealed I gasped I cried It s always a rollercoaster with Jezebel And that exclusive bonus scene was so good and so needed It really cleared up a lot What I didn t like In the first book I feel like Jezebel turned her heart to stone really quickly and I would have liked to see of an inward struggle Some elements in the second and third books were a bit confusing and a glossary could have been helpful Also there are no redeeming themes but keep in mind it is a villain origin story Content Warnings Enchantments spells curses chanting potions use of special magic gifts mention of taking advantage of people and a man hurting a woman passionate kissing a man grabs a woman against her will self harm scenes where a father abuses his daughter mention of nakedness some violence Overall this is a beautiful and heartwrenching villain origin story and fairytale retelling and the author did an amazing job capturing my attention and twisting my emotions Favorite Quotes Touching the gilded edges of the mirror I whispered to my reflection You are the most powerful of them all They don t control you No one can For the thousandth time the moment had passed before I could catch it He was making all kinds of promises but I knew better now I was the only one I could trust Young Adult Fantasy this enemy to friends romance with twists and slow burn was PERFECTION Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction The Secret GiftI flew through this book I would have read it start to finish without moving if I didn t have to go to work Interesting main character and even though she s turning evil I can t help but root for her and hope she find friends she can actually trust The Secret ShadowI finished The Secret Shadow in two days Was NOT expecting that ending But now I fear for the main characters future They deserve a happy ending but we still have a whole book to go Buckle up Starting the final in the series NOW The Secret CurseIt s okay I didn t need my heart to work anyway But for real I could not read fast enough to find out what happened next Do I despise Jezabel now Yes Do I feel bad for her Also yes Everyone in this book needs a hug and therapy Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction I am honored to say I received a copy of THE QUEEN S RISE in today s mail This omnibus offers a three book fantasy series inspired by our favorite characters Snow White Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast Bethany Atazadeh is such a prolific writer she has the power to take you from reality to never never land I highly recommend reading everything from this writer Judy Prescott Marshall Author 5 Look for THE QUEEN S RISE in my newsletter and my August Book Club Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction

Wow Just wow I absolutely LOVED this story The characters had so much depth and the changes from book one to book three was strong enough to show a difference but subtle enough to not be jarring I appreciated the twists and turns Jezebel was forced to go through as she was faced with one horrible decision after another A magnificent villain origin story If you don t read any other books this year you NEED to read this one Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction this was a DNF after 20% for me i just could not get into the first book of the three i tried to carry on considering a few reviews say that the first book wasn t as good as the rest but i really struggledthe one thing i did like tho were the short chapters i love a short chapter Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction The cover is beautiful I am absolutely looking forward to reading this book Out of all the retellings out there this is the only one I have ever really felt interest in reading and I know I won t be let down Young Adult Fantasy Science Fiction.
