There s going on than what s on the page I think this book had a lot of potential but I feel needed to be explained and dived into for me to fully comprehend and appreciate what was happening in the story. The execution streaming This world was Complex I think I feel like there was a lot happening with constant revelations but previous plot points weren t fully explained and it just got confusing I think I would have enjoyed the story overall better if I had a better understanding of what exactly was going on and the significance of some moments A in depth breakdown of the world.

I couldn t put my kindle down This definitely gave me the one chapter syndrome and I read for hours without realizing how much time had passed I think my favorite aspect is how this is a unique different take on vampires It is a bit on the dark side but still has the power to make you get lost in the feels I loved the characters and how each has such interesting personalities Fitri hands down has me so intrigued and I really can t wait to read about this person The writing is fantastic and the plot moved at such a steady pace that not once did I feel my interest lessen in any way The worldbuilding and descriptions were so well done that I was able to imagine everything I was reading The ending oh my was that a doozy Needless to say.

The Executed starts dark and stays dark It isn t just vampires but dystopian world building as well and it leaves Sili and her band of men are fighting for survival There are points in the beginning where I wondered how the mash up of these two different types of worlds would mesh together and it seems the answer is that they can mesh and very well The bare landscapes small human communities and interpersonal relationships are a wedge for vampires to exploit I liked the fight for survival with every foray for supplies fraught with danger from all fronts Sili has connections to the men who find her and I was intrigued with how age gap played into this book Most dystopian books need fast fit and young protagonists Yet Eliseo Samuel Gunner and Reed don t fit the young category It fits the feel of the book Dark gritty and do what you need with who you have The spice is no different Far from beautiful and poignant episodes we are treated to dirty couplings possessiveness and a desire to slake thirst of libido Through the adventures and scrap for survival a bigger story is being told It leads the team to a new village and suddenly everything moves very quickly So many answers are pulled forward and there is jam packed emotion page after page Everything from the intentions of the people to the workings of the men to the role of Sili is pulled along at breakneck speed and I m left wondering if this is book 1 what awaits us in book 2 English I received an advance review copy of free and I am leaving this review voluntarily The Executed is Book 1 in the Crimson Dawn Chronicles La Mer s novel is a vampire dystopian focusing on the half blood Fitri and her experiences in a post apocalyptic world Think of it as the Walking Dead but instead of zombies it is vampires. Book executive trash There was a lot of potential with this book and it didn t hit the mark for me Maybe I was too curious because the author only gave me a taste of what I was looking for We can t love every book by an author and although I did enjoy the potential it s probably not my favorite Will I dive into another one of these books Of course I m always interested in what this author releases English What did I just read I mean for quite some time I thought this book was darkish but not entirely what I m used to when reading this author s work So silly me thought The Executed might turn out to be on the lighter grey scale at least compared to other books by this author And then things turned around and now I m sitting here not entirely sure what to think The last 25% of this book turned everything I was expecting to happen upside down and inside out and now I have no clue what to expect for the second Crimson Dawn book. Execution book pdf I honestly love a good postapocalyptic series preferably on the darker side and The Executed definitely takes its place in the dark We ve got vampires and humans and pretty much all of them decided to let the worst come out of themselves when the world as we know it ended I don t believe the author missed many triggers out there while writing this book even though not all of them are described as vividly So please be careful if you have any triggers If you don t be prepared for some surprises along the way. The executed sage manga With how the author threw the entire storyline on its head at the end she did the same with the main characters of this series Now I have no clue who to like any who will play what kind of role in the future and I don t even know if I want this series to end in a HEA or if I m okay with the entire world simply burning down around them English
