Bad neighbor game I am always happy to read a book by Maya Nicole I have read quite a few many voluntarily which led me to being able to be an ARC reader also I am happy to have gotten Bad Neighbor book 2 in the Badden Brothers trilogy You can also find my review for Bad Nanny as well Bad Nanny followed the oldest brother Gabriel You find out about Noah and his feisty new neighbor and her cat in the first book Bad Neighbor picks up from the meeting point Noah met Jade and that was all she wrote folks Jade is a smoking hot super independent self made millionaire with her own Adult Novelty company. Hello neighbor bad ending who also sent Josie a whole barrel of lube in Bad Nanny Jade has had a rough go at love starting with her family and ending in every bad relationship or man in general Noah really had to work to gain Jade s trust and eventually love You can t help but love Noah Badden He is a green flag from start to finish He never waivers from Jade even though she is resisting letting her walls down He just keeps giving her unwavering and unconditional support Every chance he gets to defend her stand up for her fight for her etc he takes it There is not really a third act break up the whole relationship was kind of up and down It had roadblocks they had to overcome but their relationship only grew stronger with each one That was kind of nice Book ends in an HEA It ends but there is a book 3 that will follow the youngest brother Maya Nicole is such a great author Her stories are so creative and they just capture you from the very beginning I will always recommend her books to anyone If you see a lot of 5 star reviews it is because she is truly a 5 star author Bad Neighbor The Badden Brothers It all started with a huge cat named Captain The giant furball got into Noah Badden s house and was causing havoc When he heard his new neighbour yelling for Captain he managed to rangle him up and bring him back to her Let s just say their first impression of each other wasn t that great of one Living so close together their lives kept intertwining Thankfully it didn t take long for Noah to realize his neighbour Jade was something special and he was persistent in convincing her to spend time with him He never did relationships before but he knew he wanted one with her Jade had been cheated on by her last boyfriend a year prior which made her vow not to let any man close to her again She had been vulnerable and got her heart broken and she hated that She didn t love him any but it still affected her Considering I ve been in the same boat before I fully understand her situation and where she s coming from Therefore she resolved to just remain single and focus on herself and her work That s hard to commit to though when you have a hot as sin neighbour who seems determined to get to know you and secretly you want to know him too This book was funny sweet romantic and a little out there This book is about a man and a woman who fall in love but it s also about a successful business woman who started her company from the ground up with no financial backing This book has women empowerment and that s freaking awesome Noah is such a great guy and Jade needed someone in her life to be in her corner These two are perfect for each other and I loved reading their story Bad Neighbor The Badden Brothers This book was such an enjoyable read It is fairly short low angst and spicy like I expect Maya Nicole books to be I read the first book in the series Bad Nanny a couple of months ago and while I enjoyed it I think I liked this one even When Jade moves into the house next door to Noah her cat escapes and our MCs have a not so meet cute While Jade is annoyed at Noah from the start they accidentally fall into a fake dating arrangement and those feelings of annoyance shift into affection Jade and Noah are just so cute together Jade had had horrible experiences with men in the past so she is very reluctant to start a relationship with Noah but as they spend time together she learns that he is exactly what she wants in a partner Noah is kind respectful supportive has a great relationship with his family especially his five year old niece Their relationship definitely leans toward a slow burn but it is still plenty spicy fake dating neighbors he falls first no 3rd act breakup Bad Neighbor The Badden Brothers This was a fun sweet and spicy rom com I enjoy what I ve read from Maya Nicole which has mostly so far been her rom coms but also her omegaverse books Her writing is really engaging and keeps the pages turning. Bad neighbors In this book we see the next Badden brother Noah fall for his gorgeous sassy and business badass neighbour Jade The way they meet is funny and both of their characters are really fun to read Noah has a bit of confident cheekiness alongside some bad pun rizz and a he falls first and pursues her vibe I love that he just automatically starts calling her girlfriend when the fake relationship starts not only in public for the show Jade s business Adult toys company That plays into the fun and spice in this book quite well The banter between them is great and builds their relationship well I also love how supportive and protective he is of Jade and it comes out in some really swoony ways Overall a fun romance read definitely would be a good holiday read or a quick one between any heavier romances Recommend 4 5 Oh yes and the bonus chapter is really a funny little treat highly amused Bad Neighbor The Badden Brothers Noah and Jade are amazing They have a banter through most of the book that just feels natural and is super cute This is definitely a situation where he falls first which is adorable since that isn t really his normal style Jade is super jaded pun not intended even at such a young age because she hasn t been around many healthy relationships I do love that there is a bit of redemption but I can t say about what cause SPOILERS lol We have some familiar faces with Gabriel and Josie I thought maybe Gabe would have loosened up a bit but really he seems to reserve that ONLY for Josie and Laney Hah.
