This novel will leave readers breathless as they race toward a climax as heart stopping as it is unexpected Retribution Rebel Sons MC 1 ok so i got chosen to ARC the 3rd book which releases oct 25th i can t start in the middle of a series so started from the beginning literally less than 24 hours to gobble this first book this story is so good 2nd chance at love and a man that will do anything for his girl sarah has been abused from day 1 in her 12 year marriage to michael her sister in law anna helps her run away she goes to a small town in montana and happens across her first love.

A childhood friend who reconnects with Sarah when she ends up in his town Sarah and Jake blossom their feelings for each other while Jake also ensures he does everything in his power to keep Sarah s husband and his crime mob family away from them and the rest of the families belonging to the motorcycle club started by Jake s uncle I LOVE Gracie s writing I had no trouble following along with all the side characters and I was always so excited to keep reading Sarah and Jake s second chance romance hits you in the feels and gives REASONABLE expectations for how a man should welcome a child into their home even if it s not theirs biologically I read this in anticipation of being an arc reader for the third This is the first in the Rebel MC series.

Gracie kindly sent me this book for review it took me a while to get this review uploaded due to ill health sorry Gracie First off my favourite genre is fantasy Deviating from that is difficult I sometimes branch out into horror thrillers fantasy dark romance paranormal romance This book however was my first dark romance without fantasy and I ll tell you what I actually really enjoyed it. Retribution book The main character in this book was so deep and tortured my heart broke for her I don t think I would have been strong enough to endure the torture she received on a daily basis Gracie s portrayal of a broken woman in this story was truly breathtaking having known someone who has actually gone through a similar situation and managed to escape themselves Knowing they couldn t have done it without help then the fear that comes after the what ifs of will he find me or what if he kills me next time just so brilliantly captured The villain of the piece I wanted to get stabby Any man who can hurt and imprison a woman against her will is a disgusting P. Retribution death penalty S and deserves whatever karma seeks them I hated him with a passion I also still hate my friends ex with a fiery vengeance The saviour of the piece is a sweet protective if a little overbearing biker Now although this book is labeled as an MC book we don t actually see any real MC until late in the book which is a shame because I loved what I read Sexy gritty bounty hunting protective bikers Boy did I eat this book up I recommend this to any SOA fans smutty biker fans and mafia biker romance fans.
