They are face to face with something that they have never in a million years thought that they would encounter A zombie raccoon As we move through the story we find out what really has been happening out here Is there a psychotic killer hunting people down Is it an evil spirit passing from generation to generation Or is it something that we just absolute cannot fathom Who will make it out alive Characters The characters are diverse Over the course of the story how the characters are individually begins to become apparent They fall into different roles Atmosphere It s definitely a creepy summer camp vibe I liked that it gave off those like horror slasher summer camp vibes that you are kind of looking for.

Not just a slasher style summer camp There s to it than just your average run of the mill slasher book. Dream catcher gold necklace Logic Start to finish yeah the book flows well it progresses well and works It makes sense as you read it Enjoyment Again yes I enjoyed it It was an interesting read It was cool how there is a some native American folklore and talismans Dream Catcher ARC DNF 13% I think this is a case of not the book for me rather than there being something inherently wrong with the book I ll try to explain it from my POV.

Dream catcher coloring book images I love a camp slasher and went into this with high hopes The author does a great job of setting the scene of the camp and the surrounding woodlands It has that slasher feel The book focuses on Peyton and her small group of friends Samantha Connor Asher and Malachy. Dreamcatcher book series The story follows Payton as she tries to figure out what is going on at the camp There are two interwoven ideas people are being murdered in the traditional camp slasher style but there is also something else going on the woods at night with some Native American mythology thrown in I loved all the animals especially Chatter I felt that this at times the story became disjointed in how the chapters moved from one aspect of the story to the other They never really merged together in a conclusive way for me I would have liked this explained in detail Although it ends nicely for a sequel The characters are interesting and we get to know some of their backgrounds and motivation for being at the camp Overall it was an entertaining read. Dream catcher art therapy They soon meet up with some friends Connor Asher and Malachyand they form a little group As the girls spark up a conversation with Connor they find out that Connor s sister has ties to the camp And it doesn t take long before people start ending up dead As the group tries to keep this summer camp experience as normal as possible everything else really gets in the way of keeping it normal Before they know it but also there is a little bit of a difference There s a twist that the author throws in there. Dream job catcher book Plot The plot was interesting The way that there is some folklore that comes into it but it may be something no one can relate to me on The phrasing and terminology is weird in terms of the prose and the language used it didn t feel like it was written in English if that makes any sense The characters are confusing and contradictory One minute the main character is terrified next she is annoyed next she is happy but still annoyed I couldn t figure it out Not to mention that everything was being told and not shown which is always a pet peeve of mind It also feels like a gigantic stereotype and barrelling towards racism but I am not qualified to make that judgement The author DOES use sensitivity readers which earns them brownie points but I personally am not comfortable reading without information and of a decision from the actual communities mentioned in the book Also 4 or 5 pages of pure eating description I M 10% IN. Dream job catcher book HOW I do not give a fuck respectfully how the character chewed her toast or how he scoffed his bacon or whatever adjective you want to describe it Unless it is perpetually relevant to the conversation it wasn t in my eyes please leave food descriptions out because I m tired TLDR If the communities mentioned in this book read it and give their thoughts and they are positive I ll give it another go Otherwise it s a hard DNF and I m gutted about it Dream Catcher It was a little hard for me to get into I think the idea of the book is wonderful The ending to me felt rushed Dream Catcher Im happy to have been chosen to read this ARC from Emily. Dream catcher book covers This book has a great concept i looooove a camp slasher horror storyEmily gave a lot of detail in the book which can really help you to visualize everything that is happening in the story for me it was a bit much i felt like i wanted progress in what was happening in the storyline than all the detailing at 60% in i was really struggling to see the point of the storyline i really enjoyed to see this arc was adding a native touch to the story i wish that she had given them all names however its often just referred to as the other native americans the indians the indian horse From the very beginning it starts off with the roommates going missing from the cabin and a lot of focus on where they could be and what happened to them i wish we got to meet them first and get a character development going for them because for me they are just 2 missing people that i never got an introduction to It was hard to enjoy because i felt nothing for these characters The story quickly shifts into other topics of gold and pink mask trying to attack them and killer raccoon i feel there is a lot going on in the book at this point i like the folklore killer dead animal aspect in this bookoverall the concept is cool and adds a spooky touch i see where the author is going with this type of story the way it was put together kind of lost me with editing i think this has good potential i feel like the romance spice scenes are put in a bit randomly and quickly shift into another topic or chapter Thank you for the opportunity to read your book Dream Catcher

I had the opportunity to be an arc reader for this book It was really hard for me to get into this book at the beginning The author does an amazing job of being descriptive and detailed in her writing which I can appreciate However if feel that can take away from the story I loved the diversity in all the characters A critique I have is that I think information should be given leading up to the arrival at the camp I feel that the story abruptly starts with the impression that the reader should have knowledge of the characters back stories and the backstory of the camp Overall I think this story is pretty good but with a few tweaks it can be great Dream Catcher Murder Suspense RomanceI am truly honored to have been a ARC reader for this book Like others the story does start out slow but it does build up I enjoyed reading this book and towards the ending I did not want to put it down There was a lot of action going on which was exciting The story did throw me for a loop several times with all of the twists and turns The characters were diverse I feel Towards the end I was also thrown for a loop due to one of the characters All in all it is a great book While I did start to figure out the ending I was excited to find out what I believe was true I love a good suspense horror book Dream Catcher This is my 3rd ARC read by Emily Casilli and no surprise I loved it I ll read anything she writes Emily has such a way of balancing beauty and creepy This murder mystery romance thriller that takes place at a camp gave me Friday the 13th vibes with an original twist Native American s who know than they will tell Missing campers rumors of killings but all proof gets dismissed or ignored Paranormal creatures SPICE Peyton and Samantha go to the camp for summer fun not knowing the rumors of killings Peyton meets Malacy who is a quiet handsome Native American who prefers to keep to himself but helps her because she asked him to The creatures in her stories fascinate me Too many to name but my favorite in this story is Chatter an undead raccoon who loves and protects her I loved the story but it ends with questions slightly unanswered so I am excited for book 2 Dream Catcher Thank you Emily Casilli This book has a great premise It s a Whodunit at a camp It has a lot of potential.
