I wanted MORE LOL Riverbend was sweet and refreshing My heart really went out to Mitchem and Cynthia they were both pretty much clueless of what the other person felt Of course Mitchem is still trying to live in the past and is not sure if he s ready to move on but once he realizes things he knows he cant live with out the one that s been standing in front of him this whole time but it just might be too late Cynthia has been chasing Mitchem for far too long and she cant stand by and wait any longer and is debating whether or not she should just move on I really loved reading Riverbend and am now excited to read by Ciara Knight Romance.

If you are looking for something light and fun this set is for you I struggled for weeks to find something to help me get over a dark book that left me with the worst book hangover I ve ever experienced These short stories were the perfect and I m not a fan of short stories I don t enjoy falling in love with characters just to have their story cut short However I thoroughly enjoyed this set My favorite story was Charmer by Brinda Berry I fell in love with her writing when I read the Serendipity series and this short story did not disappoint Berry s writing style is exceptional She knows how to connect the characters with the reader and even manages to do this in her short story In Charmer Reese McClain is a real woman with real problems She takes responsibility for raising her teenage niece when her sister bails runs her own business and totally ignores her love life In a chance encounter Cord Barton a gorgeous rockstar notices Reese and their sweet love story begins Always a Bridesmaid by Melinda Curtis literally had me rolling with laughter A fun story with the right blend of drama was a great read Riverbend by Ciara Knight was a solid mix of sweet and sad There were times I wanted to slap Dr Taylor upside the head for being such a guy but in the end I was satisfied with his choice Along Came You by Hildie McQueen was my second favorite of this set I enjoyed the lightheartedness of the characters and the connection they shared McQueen did an excellent job of tying the past into the present without it being overly obvious or cliche I would highly recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a quick light and fun read Received book free in return for an honest review Romance Humor and Comedy Writing Craft I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review Always a Bridesmaid Melinda Curtis Can you imagine being a bridesmaid 13 times I sure can t That s exactly what Nicole had been through She was a master baker and had set her eyes on a man who just didn t know she existed beyond catering gigs Call it the curse Chef Sean usually works the catering gigs alongside Nicole and doesn t want her leaving NY for LA and has plans of his own to break the curse Just wait until you what happens with his plans This book was full of love humor and suspense It was a light and fun read Riverbend Ciara Knight Dr Mitchum Taylor widow has a lovely assistant named Cynthia who has wanted than that for the last four years They decide to attend an awards ceremony in Dr Taylor s honor Little did they realize that this night would change the dynamics of their whole relationship I really enjoyed this book It had just the right amount of suspense and doubts that you would expect from new relationships I also found it kind of sweet since one of the characters was a widow with a child Along Came You Hilde McQueen Jake client of real estate agent Gia is in no mood to be in Augusta Georgia He lost what feels like his only family his grandmother a few months ago HA Her niece Olivia on the other hand had her own plans for Reese and really wish that Reese would trust her Reese and Olivia meet Rock star and it turns Reese s life upside down This was a cute story It was relatable to real life Has a lovely ending too Romance Humor and Comedy he decides to help her get over her curse of freezing up while talking to attractive men But he also needs her to sign with him for his countrywide resteraunts. And then he kissed herido As they begin on this journey there are a lot of miscommunications thanks to auto correct that make for a very funny dialog between the two And as their feelings develop and trust is broken she may decide to mix business and pleasure. And then he kissed hergwyn 5 starsThis was a pleasant story with cuteness but the instant love between Jake and Gina didn t work for me and the plot was a little intense There was an ex wife and ex boyfriend who made things difficult for the main characters The sweetest part of the story was the at home feeling Gina had with Jake s grandma s house the nostalgia she experienced while attempting to put this home on the market Also really loved her dogs Gina had a decent heart that carried the story despite the drama There was also a few words of profanity no biggie but I have to ignore them when they pop up Nostalgic cute one great real estate agentUptown Heiress by Lindi Peterson 5 stars another fave of the set would ve loved this story being longer The only thing I didn t like was the first kiss in this one because Justin surprises Grace in a tender way and then he makes a mean comment afterwards I still enjoyed reading what happens between Justin and Grace but the first kiss was important to me The chemistry between them was enjoyable from the first moment they meet Grace is wealthy but very down to earth and trying to get established without her father s help which I found to be very admirable You don t have to relate to the main character to like them and Grace is naive but very creative and sweet Justin works hard and understands Grace from the moment they meet They didn t even know each other s names until their first date but the eye contact they shared was tangible in the story Charming luxurious and sweet. And then he kissed herk book review Charmer by Brinda Berry 5 stars my other fave of the group would ve loved this story being longer I didn t even take notes for this story because it was so good Reese and Olivia were the best characters and I loved them instantly Normally a rock star would be unreachable and fake but not Cord Reese s first encounter with him is crazy but interesting and then she gets a black eye trying to get her niece Olivia an autograph It was lovely how Cord pursues Reese despite all of her insecurities He s ready for a change in his lifestyle and he decides Reese and Olivia is the family for him Loved loved loved this story and wish it could ve been longer Funny unexpected a fairy taleOverall this set is very enjoyable and a clean read My fave first kiss was Always a Bridesmaid Riverbend and Charmer But the attraction in each story was amazing and I liked how each couple handled the circumstances The guys were just as nervous about falling in love as the girls were and they each did what was needed to capture the girls hearts I thought of the song And Then He Kissed Me from the opening scene of Adventures in Babysitting before reviewing this every girl wants a true love kiss And Then He Kissed Her tells 5 different couples and how they fall in love I enjoyed their stories and now I have discovered the writing talents of authors Thanks to Melinda Curtis for the review copy Romance Humor and Comedy he sets to help her draw the attention of her crush and in so she will not want to move away But along the way things do not go as plan as they are drawn together.
