Contemporary Sugar and spiced I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Sugar and Spice A Touch in the Dark 1 This short novella 47 pages introduced us to Lizzy who is on the run from an abusive ex Carter is a doctor in the ER at a new hospital where she applied for a job Immediate attraction on his part but she is reluctant to start a new relationship Sugar and Spice A Touch in the Dark 1 Not for me Sugar and Spice A Touch in the Dark 1 I love a good BBW romance and this one didn t disappoint From the beginning a sense of urgency surrounds Lizzy and it s when you learn of her past that you re sucked into the story Carter is the sweet.

Like the story Like the idea of Lizzy with Carter The story just drops at the end Very disappointing Did Jared find her Do Lizzy and Carter stay together and get serious I want Sugar and Spice A Touch in the Dark 1 Lizzy is an ER nurse and Carter is the good looking sweet and intelligent doctor who has an instant attraction to her Something seems to be bothering Lizzy Like maybe she s been hurt by someone before or she s running from something Love this storyline good looking intelligent doctor who has an instant attraction for his new ER nurse but something about her is off Who s hurt her What s she running from Great story that builds up with just enough tension The steamy romance was my favorite part and I enjoyed the well crafted characters including our H h as well as Charlie My only criticism is the abrupt cliffhanger ending I know this is a series so the next installment is coming soon however I don t think it would have hurt the story to be a little longer or include a little as it s quite short As soon as I was sucked into the story it was over and this is why I m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars Having said this I think it s a great read and look forward to reading from this author.
