I REALLY liked this book I love reading scary books and this definitely scared me It was one of the scariest books I ve read I have two other books from the series and I can t wait to read those I just for some strange reason like to be scared if that makes any sense at all p if u like scary books then I definitely recommend this book a ton It s a really quick but good scary book Ready for a Scare Ready for a Scare is a great book for those 6th and 7th graders who search and seek a few goose bumps and thrillers This is the third installment in a series titled Creepover It is not overly scary and the story plot is predictable yet fun and quick moving Kelly and some friends are having a sleepover for Kelly s birthday Her parents have to leave town they hire a slug of a babysitter who is not someone Kelly normally would interact with After a few ghost stories the new techy way camcorder internet things people and fun begin to disappear Once a few guests and the babysitter vanish Kelly finds that this party is not what she wanted or is it Ready for a Scare The next re read is here and this time it is this spooky but given the ending slightly disappointing read Sleepovers ghosts and peppermint. To clean this kindle like new The main character was so so I didn t like her attitude of always trying to scare people I keep wanting to tell her about the boy who cried wolf in the end no one believed him And I am sure that will happen to her to should she continue with this In the end there really will be a dangerous situation and no one will believe her rather laugh at her with big consequences. Is ready or not scary Speak the truth 6 year ago me I was so annoyed with this girl that she always had to scare her friends Sorry but if I had a friend like that I would definitely not been around much longer I like the scare people but not constantly It is not constantly on my mind to think of new spooky and creepy things Just at times when the mood is right I want to scare someone And I am also getting it back quite soon after This girl should just calm down a bit and maybe find some hobbies before people leave her Also I agree with my old review I can see that happen Boy cried wolf vibed big ones. Ready for a scare?m besides halloween I did like the whole sleeping party and the whole story that came out of that But again that ending Urgh It happens quite often in this series awesome story and then bang some explanation and gone is the scary mood Yep The sleeping party was fun and I loved that the girls and Spencer were able to hold their sleepover despite the weather and the restrictions Internet is amazing and it is great for things like this It was fun to see them do all sorts of activities though it all comes down to horror stories The story itself was also creepy and it was good to read and I did get the goosebumps I wanted to have because it is hot as hell here the past days but yes I agree again with me of 6 years ago the ending ruined the mood I would have loved to see something else rather than what we got here. Book ready for a scare? ordeal I am not sure how I feel about Gavin I just found it odd that he was there to begin with I mean if my best friend had a sleepover birthday celebration I wouldn t bring along someone new that no one knows yet It was at times just so awkward and strange Everyone didn t know what to make of the situation. Book ready for a scare? ordeal I did like the cover it is so spooky and haunting I love the girl in the screen and the girl looking at us with menace and evil 1 star for disappointing ending Let s start with that Man that ending was soooo disappointing And not even that but the thing that happened before it Let s just say we had a totally awesome book awesome scary events happening and bang bye bye scariness and hello lame explanation which ruined the book for me I am just pretending that that didn t happen and instead we continue with were we left off. Prepared not scared book Yep still agree with me here The book makes it all scary and spooky and then we get x happening and the whole scariness bursts like a bubble Then the author tries to make it creepy again but for me the whole effect was ruined. Ready for a scare?x relix meaning L Stine on our hands Ready for a Scare This book was so scary Luckily I don t think this could happen in real life I couldn t figure out where everyone kept on disappearing to and the brother and babysitter totally freaked me out The end really surprised me when Kelly saw something with see through skin and bones could it be miss Mary Ready for a Scare Okay so I accidentally read the 3rd book in the series it was such a page turner that I finished it in one day Sure it was short but I can t wait to read the rest of the series I gotta admit I wasn t expecting it to be all a joke I was pretty freaked though Anyways I loved everything about this book and I loved how much detail was put in this book I seriously am still scared after reading this Ready for a Scare It was creepy at first Then not Then creepy again Ready for a Scare Pretty average This one reminded me a lot in regards to plot and twists of the Goosebumps book Welcome to Camp Nightmare If you ve read that then you ve basically read this one as well Although I feel Stine did a much better job with the story I guessed the ending early on and simply glided along until the book was done This is the weakest of the series that I ve read so far and it s fairly forgettable but not terrible so I ll give it 3 stars and move on Ready for a Scare MAJOR SPOILER ALERT This is the third entry in the Creepover series and it s at once the best and worst of the three Written by Heather Alexander P. Kindle ready for a scare? novel review J Night is the house pseudonym for this series it dishes up an eerie environment an interesting plot a likable protagonist and a good supporting cast But while the chills are sustained for over half the book the reader can t help but become suspicious that there may be a non supernatural explanation for all the spookiness This is partly due to the fact that the ghost for all the time it supposedly spends haunting Kelly never does anything to her but also because the book s overall plot mirrors that of Truth or Dare the first Creepover book weird things happen and a ghost is suspected but in the end there are rational explanations for nearly everything And as in that book here there is a final page hint that there really is something supernatural going on But it s too late Once the suspense has been cleared away the reader feels a bit cheated and there s nothing an author can do to fix that feeling. Book ready for a scare? novel review Yes I m an adult and maybe a very young child will be comforted by knowing there was nothing really frightening going on in the book But he or she might also be as disappointed by that fact as I was Hopefully the rest of the books in this series will be like book two You Can t Come in Here There the payoff is real exciting and with just a babysitter Kelly s practically on her own It s the perfect time for a virtual webcam sleepover where she and her friends can scare each other silly by telling ghost stories and summoning the spirit of Miss Mary a woman from their small town who died tragically a long time ago But when her friends start disappearing one by one and the babysitter is nowhere to be found Kelly starts getting scared for real Is Kelly next to face the ghost s wrath Creepy full color graphic panels tell the story with the same horror as the original novel This chilling tale is a level 5 on the Creep o Meter Ready for a Scare P.
