I m glad we got another story in this world and would love to see the that is hinted at It s not the most satisfying as a self contained story but it works good as a smaller part of the whole. Eve Literature fictional The art is great too Loved the character design on Selene and her group English This remains a good fresh take on a post apocalyptic Earth story I read the first series a while ago so maybe an exposition dump text page at the very beginning would have been nice That small detail is far from a deal breaker This can be read on its own and it a very satisfying read as such Eve and her sister Eve are clones who have helped re start Earth s eco system In conjunction with the AI teddy bear that murdered their father really if you can find the first series read it they are locating outposts sanctuaries if you will of other children and assisting them with getting headed towards a sustainable civilization. Science Fiction Fantasy everything The outpost turns out to be lead by a fanatic who had been in contact with the Eves father right up to his murder What happens is a conflict between idealism and isolationism English Victor LaValle and Jo Mi Gyeong take us back to a world saved by Eve but there are still plenty of dangers We get to meet some kids not on the same page as Eve another good idea of her father s and The book is really good and emotional to a point but I felt it wasn t needed The first one ended so well that a return trip wasn t something I was hoping for I felt a certain character s origins needed explained much better Mi Gyeong s art was very good especially with Selene s look Overall a good read but not necessary English After saving the world what does it take to build a new one Full review at No Flying No Tights English Really good follow up it matches up well with the original story English The long awaited return of the Afrofuturist coming of age adventure perfect for first time fans Eve saved the world once already embarking on a perilous quest to protect what remained of humanity after a deadly virus outbreak but the story continues Selene a source of hope for the many children that flocked to her rest stop resents Eve Eve s sister and Wexler The conflict amongst them and the survivors is dire even sowing the potential for civil war But an A. Eve Literature fictional I with terrifying origins from deep beneath the sea brings new revelations about the threats they face not only of earth but beyond Eve and her companions face new challenges and a darkness from their past in this exciting sequel series from award winning author and lauded professor Victor LaValle The Ballad of Black Tom Victor LaValle s Destroyer and returning Eve artist Jo Mi Gyeong The Dark Age of Resistance Collects Children of the Moon 1 5 Eve Children of the MoonThere were too many loose ends and unresolved questions It s cute though English I definitely didn t enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the first volume but I still DID find this one enjoyable I just didn t love where the story went for this one I think I probably would ve liked this series if it stayed as a single volume story rather than continue into this one but I might even still check out another volume if there ever is one The effort the author put into world building this warrants an additional look into this new direction for this story if there ever is one English I like how this one built on the storylines of the first volume Same great art style This kind of felt like it set up a bunch of stuff for a future volume though it did introduce some neat new characters and add some layers to the old ones Worth checking out it s a lot of fun and made me feel stuff but it left me wanting Here s hoping for a volume 3 English I enjoyed the first Eve volume despite its flaws I just really enjoyed the killer teddy bear I didn t need this sequel English 3.
