Pdf highlighter 5 4 stars I m glad I took a gamble on High Bet I love the element of the MCs being in each other s dreams To meit s intimate and sexy and some authors really excel at it Delta was 100% successful in creating a passionate development between her MCs through their dreams Lauren and Jace are shifters and Jace realizes that Lauren is his fated mate and finds himself in her dreams He doesn t know how to reach her physically but it s only a matter of time before he does A game of cat and mouse ensues and danger is on the horizon that they ll both be entangled in Can Jace claim and save his mate before it s too late This was action packed with a good amount of heat If you ve read any of Delta James books.

An interesting element to High Bet caught my attention dreamscaping It s been done before some successfully and some not Lauren and Jace spend time in a cat and mouse chase twisting and turning emotions and actions only to discover that there is going on behind the fantasy Gambling is all about taking a risk and placing your hopes on the roll of the dice Jace s intentions towards his mate will either succeed wildly she relies heavily on a Dom sub like relationship and I thought it was really well done here The alpha element wasn t too overbearing and the heroine wasn t too much of a door mat or annoying whiny Overall a fun and steamy read I received a review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily Delta James A wonderful addition to the Syndicate Masters series Lauren and her fated mate Jace both lead by example in order to achieve and maintain their happily ever after I received a free copy of this book This review was posted voluntarily Delta James Delta James has a real talent Not only for creating compelling stories but also for establishing the intense chemistry between her male and female mc s Lately I have encountered too many books where the main characters had no chemistry at all In this book the main characters had great chemistry There was also an interesting twist that included both panther and fox shifters I liked that Jace and Lauren came together in another way before their physical introduction occurred I admired Lauren s strength intelligence and her willingness to acknowledge her vulnerability I also liked that Jace was willing to do anything to make her happy and keep her safe as well as protecting the other vixens I liked how their emotions were easily recognized and intensified via the link High Bet could have gone on longer and added detail about opening night Arturo Pam the other vixens their new lives and I would have been even happy I wanted the details about Lauren after the claiming bite whether the others decided what choice they were going to make and information about the cross in the casino. High Bet kindle books I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Delta James I AM YOUR DESTINY YOU ARE MY FATED MATEWhile the story is part of the Syndicate Masters Eastern Seaboard it will read as a stand alone story The story was set up at the end of High Stakes and I was fascinated with what little teaser was shared The story did not disappoint this reader I loved the characters and their interactions I loved how Jace and Lauren had a deep connection before they met even if it began in the dream world The role that Lauren acquired as Alpha of a rogue band of vixens was never her intent but she took her responsibilities seriously and did the best she could You can t hide forever little one The link between us is growing stronger and in the end it will lead me to you The story is full of mystery suspense danger intrigue and yes definitely romance I love the chemistry between Jace and Lauren and really hated to see their story end The story has the good the bad and the evil in people and shifters But gladly those who deserve retribution for their evil ways will find it in the end Jace never really forces Lauren to accept his claim of fated mates because they had shared on a higher plain with their erotic shared dreams I think she was shocked to actually find him in person and running away but that won t stop him from finding her Every girl needs a strong man in her corner even if she doesn t think she does I think that with all the responsibilities and burdens of leading the other vixens giving over control to Jace was liberating Be careful what you wish for little one You have a deal When Jace and his soldiers come to the aid of Lauren and her vixens they are kind with reasonable options and solutions There was no force only realistic acquisition of the girls Lauren Do I have a choice Jace You always have choices Lauren It s just that today I m the best choice out of what I m sure you see as a lot of bad options Make no mistake Lauren you belong to me heart mind body and soul Lauren You re impossible.

High Bet paranormal books The story does have an epilogue and the end of it is a setup for another book probably another series Delta James I would definitely recommend that you as a reader should get your hands on this amazing dark mafia shifter romance as I sincerely doubt that you would be disappointed with what you find waiting between the pages for you The storyline flowed smoothly throughout an exceptionally well written plot that has excellent world building some really well described exciting scenes in it I found the characters well developed likable with realistic emotional reactions that either displayed a determination to succeed or defiance to avoid the inevitable future The secondary characters play outstanding supporting roles.
